I bring something to this work that is genuinely uncommon: a combined decade of clinical training and practice at one of the country's leading universities, years of experience working alongside people through some of life's most acute and complex moments, and my own significant personal transitions. I know this terrain personally, not just professionally. My approach is rigorous and evidence-informed, and also deeply attentive to intuition, to the quiet signals that often know before we do. I am not here to tell you what to do. I am here to help you get clear on what you already know, and to partner with you in designing what comes next.

Because clarity, intention, and the right support can change everything. Most of us move through life reacting rather than designing — managing what's in front of us without stepping back to ask whether it's aligned with who we are and where we want to go. Coaching creates that space. It is structured, forward-focused, and built entirely around you. Whether you are navigating a significant transition or simply sensing that something needs to shift, coaching gives you the tools, perspective, and accountability to move forward with purpose

Therapy and coaching serve different purposes, and the distinction matters. Therapy is clinical care: it addresses mental health, trauma, and psychological conditions, and requires a licensed practitioner for good reason. Coaching is its own discipline, oriented toward growth, clarity, and the intentional design of what comes next. Our work together is not clinical care. It is forward-focused, strengths-based, and built entirely around where you are going.
That said, I don’t leave my clinical background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the door. It informs how I listen, how I recognize patterns, and how I hold the complexity of a person's life. And if at any point I sense that therapy would serve you better than coaching, I will tell you honestly and help you find the right support.

Perfect. That’s exactly the right place to start! Send an email to info@trytheedit.com and we can chat. You don't need to arrive with a clear goal or a fully formed vision. You just need a willingness to explore. Our consultation call is designed precisely for this. It’s a low-pressure conversation to help you get oriented, understand what coaching can offer, and find the starting point that makes sense for you

Meaningful change is dose-dependent. Just as the most effective treatments require consistency over time, coaching works best when we have the space to go deep, build momentum, and integrate what emerges. A single conversation can be illuminating, but it rarely shifts the patterns, habits, and perspectives that have taken years to form.
Packages are designed to honor that reality. They ask for your dedication to a defined arc of work, and that dedication changes the nature of the work itself. When you enter a coaching relationship with a sustained focus, something shifts: the conversations go deeper, the insights land differently, and the changes you make have room to take root. That commitment is, in many ways, the first edit.

Warm, direct, and grounded. I bring genuine curiosity to every conversation, a deep respect for your autonomy, and a willingness to say the honest thing when it matters. I hold the arc of our work together so you can focus on what is actually in front of you, and I bring enough humor to keep things human. Our sessions will feel structured without being rigid, and challenging without being uncomfortable. You will always know where we are going and why.

Sessions are held virtually, making them accessible wherever you are. Depending on your package, sessions run 50 or 75 minutes and are typically held every one to two weeks — a rhythm designed to maintain momentum while giving you space to integrate and act between conversations.
Each session is structured and purposeful, making the most of our time together, while remaining flexible and responsive to what you are actually experiencing. Some sessions will be focused and forward-moving; others will call for something slower and more exploratory. I come to every conversation prepared, engaged, and genuinely interested in where you are. We go from there. You will leave with something concrete to work with, and depending on your package, you will have email access to me between sessions for support and accountability.

That depends on what you are working toward, but most clients notice a meaningful shift in clarity and momentum within the first few sessions. Significant and lasting change — the kind that reshapes habits, patterns, and direction — typically unfolds over several months. This is why our packages are structured the way they are: real change takes time, consistency, and space to integrate. That said, there is no single right entry point. The package you choose should reflect where you are right now and what you most need, and our consultation call is a good place to figure that out together.

Yes. Everything shared within our coaching relationship is held in strict confidence. I take confidentiality seriously, both as a professional and ethical obligation and as the foundation of any meaningful working relationship. Prior to our first session, you will receive documentation outlining the terms of our work together, including confidentiality protections, what our coaching relationship covers, and what you can expect from me. I carry professional liability insurance, and I work from a formal client agreement because I believe you deserve to know exactly what you are entering into: your rights, your protections, and the nature of our partnership. The Edit is a space where you can think, explore, and be fully honest, and that requires knowing that what you share stays here.

Life happens, and I want our work together to feel sustainable. If your needs shift or circumstances change, we can discuss adjusting your package or pausing your sessions. I am committed to making this partnership work for your life, not the other way around.
